I am seeking permission to use one of your photos.
I’m a retired Army veteran with 21 years active service from 1958-1979. I am, currently, an amateur songwriter/guitar player trying to complete a CD commemorating the Army organization in which I served. One song, “The Long Black Wall” is about growing up, friendship, going separate ways and finding courage to go to the Vietnam Memorial Wall to “visit” that special friend years later. I started to look for photos of the wall to serve as the background for the printed lyrics in the CD booklet and found your beautiful shots of the wall on the pbase site. They’re are the best I’ve ever seen and one in particular caught my eye. I would like your permission to use it, with credit of course.
I would be more than happy to send you a courtesy copy of the CD with booklet to show you exactly how it would be used. If there is a mailing address you can provide, I will put one in the mail right away.
